Abstract
Dracaena trifasciata (Prain) Mabb. (Asparagaceae) is a perennial herb, commonly known as mother-in-law’s tongue, cultivated as an ornamental plant in homes and parks, native to tropical West Africa. The leaves and rhizomes are traditionally used against acne, fungal infections, skin itches, allergy, ulcer, helminths, earache, pharyngitis, urinary diseases, jaundice, analgesic and antipyretic in various countries.
