Child has been found to have marked elevated liver enzymes. Ultimately diagnosed with disseminated. HSV (encephalitis/ hepatitis) based on Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) finding of HSV as well as positive HSV Immunoglobulin M (IgM) serology.
