Abstract

Despite being elaborated by experts, the Yogyakarta Principles on sexual orientation and gender identity (YP) strongly resemble an international human rights treaty in their language and format. Building on drag performances, I argue that, instead of merely imitating law, the YP creatively disturb the borders of international law-making.
