Abstract
ABSTRACT:Publications of most professions and their professional organizations have evolved to better meet the needs of their members. These changes are reflected in three main publication types: professional journals, professional newsletters, and professional magazines. Each is described in terms of readership, focus, content, and criteria for publication. Recent developments in professional publications are briefly described.
