Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of issues related to the design of electric motors and the use of submersible electric machines in the marine environment on drilling rigs and platforms. The article describes the calculation of parameters and energy characteristics of asynchronous electric motors of submersible electric machines. The mathematical apparatus for calculating the energy characteristics and short-circuit current of asynchronous electric motors of electric machines of open design is given. Some characteristic features of calculating the energy characteristics and short-circuit current of asynchronous electric motors of electric machines of open design, taking into account the efficiency coefficient in relation to the useful power consumed and the total losses in them, are also considered.
