In order to maximize the effects of implementing digitalization, the transformation needs to encompass not only the local business processes and business models, but also the corporate culture. The study analyses the process of exploring the digitalization potential for a modular mobile plant (mini-plant) that produces non-explosive components of emulsion explosives developed by AZOTTECH. The paper identifies the key points necessary for successful implementation of the digitalization process at the mini-plant, which can serve as a basis for designing a digital twin implementation strategy. Abstract

Modern business solutions set a trend towards integrating digital technologies into all areas of corporate organization. Digitalization plays a key role in modern business, enabling companies to increase the process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality and maintenance efficiency.
