For Copper complex MTHBABA molar absorptivity and sandell’s sensitivity was found to be 39524 L mole-1cm-1 and 0.0243 μgcm-2 respectively. Job’s Continuous Variation as well as the Mole Ratio Method confirm complex nature 1:1 (Copper: MTHBABA). During MTHBABA present study interference of various ions is also discussed. Elemental and spectral analysis techniques were used for characterization of MTHBABA reagent.
