Journal of China Medical University was founded in 1951. It is a comprehensive academic journal of medicine and health sponsored by Liaoning Provincial Department of Education and China Medical University. It is now a monthly journal, which is publicly distributed at home and abroad. The journal's publishing policy is to give full play to the advantages of China Medical University, reflect the level of China Medical University, embody the characteristics of China Medical University, and expand the influence of China Medical University. The journal targets medical and health science and technology personnel as its main readers, and reports the latest scientific research results, new technologies, and new experiences in the fields of basic medicine, clinical medicine, preventive medicine, and pharmacy. It aims to implement the strategy of "revitalizing the country through science and education", promote the exchange of medical information and the development of medical science, and improve the health level of the whole people.
At present, the papers or abstracts published in this journal are included in internationally renowned retrieval systems such as the American Chemical Abstracts (CA), the American Biological Abstracts (BA), the American EBSCO academic database, and domestically renowned databases or retrieval journals such as the China Core Journals Database, the Chinese Core Journals Overview, the China Science and Technology Papers and Citation Database (CSTPCD), the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBMdisc), the Chinese Biomedical Periodical Literature Database (CMCC), the China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database (CNKI), Wanfang Data-Digital Journal Group, and the Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP).
