Abstract

This work describes new drift chambers for the ALPOM-2 experiment. This gaseous detector consists of signal and drift-forming as well as screening planes. The main advantages of new chambers that provide effective registration of particles are considered. Details of a chamber design and test bench are presented. Methods of testing and the results obtained are described, confirming the high efficiency and resolution of this detector, which is important for further precision experiments in spin physics at the ALPOM-2 setup and the NICA collider.
