In addition to power generation, chemical looping technology has also started to receive attention for the production of valuable chemicals, providing opportunities for process intensification with a potential increase in process efficiency and reduction in emissions. Abstract
Chemical looping is a promising technology for clean and efficient conversion of fuel to electricity with integrated carbon dioxide capture, offering a potential for process intensification by eliminating the gas separation unit, leading to significant improvement on process efficiency and reduction on process complexity. In addition to power generation, chemical looping technology has also started to receive attention for the production of valuable chemicals, providing opportunities for process intensification with a potential increase in process efficiency and reduction in emissions.
