Abstract
Emerging studies have disclosed the pivotal role of cancer-associated microbiota in supporting cancer development, progression and dissemination, with the in-depth comprehending of tumor microenvironment. In particular, certain invasive bacteria that hide in various cells within the tumor tissues can render assistance to tumor growth and invasion through intricate mechanisms implicated in multiple branches of cancer biology.
