Abstract
This article focuses on the regulation of steric hindrance effect on the exciton binding energy of Y-series non-fullerene acceptors. The introduction of bulk cyclohexyl group in the side chains modulates inter- and intramolecular interactions of acceptors, thereby influencing the exciton binding energy and ultimately enhancing the energy conversion efficiency of organic solar cells (e632).
