LaEO exhibited potent inhibition of bacterial growth at MIC values ranging from 64 to 128 μg/mL, with MBC values similar to MIC. Additionally, interactions between LaEO and clinical antimicrobials (imipenem and gentamicin) demonstrated additive and synergistic effects when combined. Cytotoxicity assessment using the MTT assay on peritoneal macrophages revealed no significant difference in cell viability compared to the control, with a CC50 exceeding 512 μg/mL.
