In summary, this review provides insights into the neuroendocrine and molecular mechanisms underlying fish responses to thermal stress, emphasizing the importance of skeletal muscle and liver tissues in mediating physiological adaptations. Global warming is altering ocean temperatures, impacting productivity and aquatic ecosystems.
