Abstract

The authors retract the published paper “Chem. Mater. 2022, 34, 9425–9436. DOI: 10.1021/acs.chemmater.2c01722” because, upon investigation by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, crucial Electron Microscopy images were found to be manipulated, which undermines the main findings of the paper. Specifically, Figures 2a, 2c, 6a, 6b, 6d, 7a, S10a S10d, S10e, S10f, and S10g had false scale bars, which are significantly larger than reality. Additionally, Figures S10b and S10c were found not to show the samples claimed. The original Article was published on October 25th, 2022 and was retracted on November 15, 2024.
