Abstract
Lilium brownii is a commonly used medicinal and food plant species in China. In this study, we investigated the chemical components of the ethanol extract from bulbs of L. brownii. As a result, a new compound (regaloside N, 1) and ten known phenylpropanoid compounds (2–11) were isolated from the bulbs of L. brownii. The structure of the new compound was elucidated by spectroscopy, acid hydrolysis and derivatization.
