Abstract
Retraction: A. Kumar, S. G. Devi, S. Batra, C. Singh, and D. K. Shukla, “Calcium Supplementation for the Prevention of Pre-Eclampsia,” International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics 104, no. 1 (2009): 32–36. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ijgo.2008.08.027.
The above article, published online on 11 October 2008, in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), and has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Professor Michael Geary; the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics; and John Wiley and Sons Ltd. Multiple independent third parties raised concerns regarding a large number of duplicated values in the baseline table, identical frequencies for two different variables despite different P-values, and inconsistencies in the means and standard deviations with the reported sample sizes. The authors responded to an inquiry by the publisher, but were not able to provide original data for assessment. The editors have determined that patterns in the data indicate that the data is incompatible with a genuine randomization process. The retraction has been agreed to because the editors can no longer consider the data and the results presented in the article reliable. The authors disagree with the retraction.
撤回:A. 104,no。1(2009): 32-36。
