However, in addition to its orthopaedic benefits, orthotics also entail several constraints. And it alone cannot treat the consequences of cerebral palsy. That is why it is particularly important for the objectives of the brace to be jointly defined by the patient, his or her family and professionals. The equipment also requires regular readjustments.
