Breast cancer (26.7%), colorectal carcinoma (13.3%), and hematologic malignancies (10.5%) were the most researched neoplasms. IL17A promoted tumor growth in breast cancer and correlated with poor outcomes in colorectal, breast, and lung cancers. IL17 also played a significant role in immune modulation in gliomas and other tumors. Abstract

Interleukin 17 (IL17) is a cytokine involved in immune regulation and has been increasingly recognized for its role in cancer progression.
