Abstract
The present work describes the process of the sonographic examination, normal findings and measurements in the B-mode ultrasound evaluation. Reference is made to anatomical variants in shape, the pyramidal lobe, tubercle of Zuckerkandl, ectopic thyroid tissue, and their significance.
