Abstract
Herein, we proposed a simple approach for synthesizing 6-H-phenanthridine through, which was a tandem reaction and promoted by base. 2'-Fluoro-[1,1'-biphenyl]-2-carbaldehydes and LiN(SiMe3)2 were simply added and combined to obtain different structures of 6-H-phenanthridines (25 examples, ≤90% yield). In the syntheses of 6-H-phenaridine, the transition metal-free approach outlined in this paper is direct, convenient and easy to execute.
