Abstract

Background: SERPINB5, also known as Maspin, is a non-inhibitory member of the serine protease inhibitor superfamily. SERPINB5 exerts diverse effects on a variety of human cancers, including cell proliferation, angiogenesis, apoptosis, tumor invasion, and metastasis.
