Binary logistic regression was performed to identify the factors related to home accidents. Most participants were female, were aged 65–69 years, and lived in single-story houses with their families. More than half reported having had home accidents, mostly slips. Gender was significantly associated with accidents (<em>p</em> < 0.05), while other factors including age, body mass index, and toilet type showed no significant associations. This study suggests that the risk of accidents depends on individual susceptibility and environmental factors such as slippery or unstable floors. The results can inform the design of homes for the elderly based on anthropometric data to incorporate features such as stable handrails, appropriate home and kitchen equipment, and tools.
