Abstract

This paper introduces a novel extension of Szász–Kantorovich-type operators based on Appell polynomials and explores their convergence characteristics employing Korovkin’s theorem. The study delves into the rate of convergence using both classical and second-order modulus of continuity, Voronovskaja type theorem, and weighted approximation outcomes.
