Optimal Multipole Center

This crucial advancement in nanophotonics, optomechanics, and other theoretical and computational physics applications solves the fundamental problem of identifying the optimal multipolar expansion origins for fields scattered by small particles. The findings also show that electric and magnetic multipolar centers, which are positioned separately from each other and particles' centers of mass, move depending on the incident frequency and angle.
