The inclusion criteria involved research using grafts to treat bile duct injuries in pig, swine, or mini-pig models. Out of 2231 studies identified, eleven met the inclusion criteria. These studies evaluated various graft techniques, including autologous tissue with biodegradable stents, decellularized grafts, patches, prosthetic grafts, bacterial cellulose film, and heterogeneous materials. Each method had distinct advantages and limitations, particularly regarding postoperative outcomes and histological findings.
