It has a certain number of disadvantages, notably its irradiation and its cost.</div></div><div><h3>Method</h3><div>We carried out a literature review of all articles having studied ultrasound (renal, ureteral, bladder or urethral) simultaneous with urodynamic assessment (flowmetry, cystomanometry or pressure-flow studies) that we called echo-urodynamics.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>Eleven articles were found using our search criteria, studying the diagnosis of vesico-ureteral reflux, bladder outlet obstruction, the occurrence of urinary leakage or a bladder compliance disorder.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusion</h3><div>Echo-urodynamics is a promising alternative to video-urodynamics but is currently too little studied. Abstract

Contexte

La vidéo-urodynamique est actuellement le gold standard pour l’évaluation des voies urinaires, particulièrement des patients neurologiques : elle combine un bilan urodynamique à des clichés radiographiques avec fluoroscopie permettant un diagnostic à la fois anatomique et fonctionnel. Elle présente un certain nombre d’inconvénients, notamment l’exposition aux radiations et son coût élevé.

Méthode

Nous avons réalisé une revue de littérature des articles ayant étudié l’échographie (rénale, urétérale, vésicale ou urétrale) simultanée au bilan urodynamique (débimétrie, cystomanométrie ou profilométrie urétrale) que nous avons nommé écho-urodynamie.

Résultats

Onze articles ont été trouvés avec nos critères de recherche, étudiant le diagnostic de reflux vésico-urétéral, d’obstruction sous-vésicale, la survenue de fuite urinaire ou d’un trouble de la compliance vésicale.

Conclusion

Video-urodynamics is currently the gold standard for the evaluation of the urinary tract, particularly in neurological patient: it combines an urodynamic assessment with a voiding cysto-uretrography, allowing both an anatomical and functional diagnosis. It has a certain number of disadvantages, notably its irradiation and its cost.

Method
