Abstract
This work proposes a noise figure (NF) measurement method for active antennas based on the over-the-air (OTA) method. First, the relevant concepts of NFs are reviewed. Then, the calibration of path gain is proposed and the calculation for the NF is deduced. Finally, the measurement setup and procedure are presented, and the measurements are performed.
