Just as kingfishers target prey and skillfully catch small fish with their beaks, these compounds exhibit efficient reactivity with amines to produce 4-aminotriazoles. Abstract
The Front Cover illustrates the coupling of iodonium(III) triazoles with amines through copper catalysis. 1,2,3-Triazolyliodonium(III) salts are demonstrated to be a valuable synthetic tool for the transfer of triazoles.
