Abstract

This research explores the activation cross sections of several neodymium (Nd) and cerium (Ce) radionuclides generated by proton-induced reactions on praseodymium-141 (141Pr) within an energy range of 27 to 60 MeV. The study specifically focuses on the production pathways 141Pr(p,xn)139m,140,141Nd and 141Pr(p,x)139Ce. The experimental excitation functions obtained are compared with theoretical predictions from the TALYS code and existing literature.
