Abstract

Macrocycles like the ones depicted in the rod-and-ball representation shown in the picture can enable powerful drugs but their exploration has been difficult. The build--pair--couple strategy reported by Felix Hausch et al. in their Research Article (e202418512) allows the rapid assembly of diversely decorated macrocycles, especially in the linker part (highlighted in orange).
