The ultrasound waves release a large amount of energy, increasing the temperature in the surrounding tissues, contributing to neocollagenesis and tissue remodelling and reducing the size of adipocytes in the adipose tissue. The results of current scientific reports seem to be promising. In the literature, we find articles on the use of the HIFU method in new indications. HIFU treatments, despite being minimally invasive, may be accompanied by complications.
