Abstract

There are multiple etiologies for revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR), including but not limited to infection, arthrofibrosis, and graft failure, which should be distinguished before revision ACLR. Graft failure occurs when the reconstructed ligament does not restore knee stability, and it includes both graft rupture and functional failure in the setting of an intact graft.
