AbstractRadiologic confirmation of temporomandibular joint pathology diagnosis has long been difficult to achieve. Computerized or computed tomography (CT) with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) can produce multiple images of the temporomandibular joint at various views, thus permitting a non-invasive diagnosis of pathology or disorder in the joint.
