Chi-square test and odds ratio with 95% confidence intervals were performed to compare genotype distributions between ‘healed’ and ‘persistent apical periodontitis’ groups (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.05). Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate SNP–SNP interactions. The allele and genotype distributions for the polymorphisms between the persistent apical periodontitis and healed groups were not statistically significant (<i>p</i> &gt; 0.05).
