Abstract
The paper presents nutrition as a fundamental biological function in connection with art from wider Skofjelosko-Selska area on the examples of medieval wall paintings-frescoes, painted beehive panels and examples of folk art such as small breads, Dražgose breads and some other folk arts related to nutrition.
