In particular, the paper is focused on the factors affecting the emi- gration of the population from Estonia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Slovakia with Estoni-an, Lithuanian, Slovenian and Slovak citizenship respectively, to Germany as a desti- nation country with the highest number of migrants among all the EU countries during the period 1998 – 2016 with the use of fixed effects and OLS estimation methods. Abstract
Explaining emigration patterns in Estonia, and Slovakia The current paper contributes to the studies devoted to identifying the factors affecting emigration from CEE (Central and Eastern Europe), which are the EU member states to other EU states.
