The best experimental conditions for ion-exchange resin was: pH value for 9.24, the amount of Na2CO3 (concentration 0.05mol/L)for 5.0 ml/L, the amount of resin for 40 g/L, mixing time for 20min, and mixing intensity for 200r/min. Ca2+ removal rate reached 94.8% and 94.8%, and effluent's calcium concentration were 0.52mmol/L.
