Results Significant difference was recorded between the two groups in initial retention forces (T0) where group II showed higher retention forces in comparison to group I (P = 0.001). However, no significant difference was observed between two groups at T6 and T12. Within group comparison of mean retention values at different follow-up periods revealed significant difference for both groups. 目的评价两种不同夹片材料在下颌牙保留覆盖义齿铸造棒上的固位力。患者与方法选择活动义齿科门诊男性患者20例。西奈大学牙科学院(Kantara),有完全无牙的上颌和部分无牙的下颌弓,有两个犬齿遗骸(33,43)。患者被分为两组。I组:采用塑料(尼龙)夹下颌覆盖义齿;II组:采用聚醚-醚酮夹下颌覆盖义齿。分别于插入时(T0)、6个月(T6)、12个月(T12)记录固位力。结果两组在初始固位力(T0)上有显著差异,其中II组固位力高于I组(P = 0.001)。然而,T6和T12时两组间无显著差异。在组内比较不同随访期的平均保留值,两组差异有统计学意义。结论在本研究的范围内,聚醚醚酮固位夹与尼龙固位夹在复盖义齿使用12个月时,均能提供可接受且相当的固位力。
