Abstract

The model of coexistence of people and artificial beings (robots) under the condition of dominance of the latter is considered. As a mechanism for the dominance of robots, a mechanism for regulating the distribution of the produced resource between robots and people in the interests of robots is adopted. The study was carried out for two variants of the role of people in the production of a resource: 1) with the interchangeability of people and robots, 2) with the indispensability of people. Various scenarios for the development of events are presented, including those leading to the disappearance of the human population. The impact of a decrease in productivity with an increase in the number of employees on the development of the community has been studied. Conditions have been found that provide humanity with a more or less prosperous future.

The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation is an interdisciplinary journal for the exploration and understanding of social processes by means of computer simulation. Since its first issue in 1998, it has been a world-wide leading reference for readers interested in social simulation and the application of computer simulation in the social sciences. Original research papers and critical reviews on all aspects of social simulation and agent societies that fall within the journal"s objective to further the exploration and understanding of social processes by means of computer simulation are welcome.
