Abstract

In this paper we present a technique to improve the phase noise capabilities of local oscillators for atomic fountains. Specifically, the local oscillator is a combined system composed of two independent BVA oscillators. In this way, the measurement time reduces of a factor of two in comparison to the more usual local oscillator realized by one single BVA.
