Abstract

In this paper, we have attempt to use microwave (MW) to intensify and regenerate iron chippings (IC)/coconut-shell activated carbon (CSAC) for degradation of Reactive Brilliant Red K-2BP (K-2BP). The result showed that MW could intensify and regenerate IC/CSAC system and higher color removal percentage (CR%) and chemical oxygen demand reduction (CODR%) were achieved after MW irradiation.
