Abstract

An improved post-processing method was proposed for displaying 3-D shape of scattering sources with polarity of the echoes. The method was applied to terahertz pulse-echo measurements for a plastic plate, including three artificial defects: metal rod, air gap, and water-filled gap. The method successfully recognized the change of the dielectric property due to the defects.
