Abstract

The paper presents a comparative analysis of the efficiency of two main options of soft switching at zero current in high-power inverters. Based on the phase trajectories for both options, the maximum currents and voltages of the resonant circuit are estimated. The balance of consumed and stored energy of the resonant circuit is calculated. The advantages and disadvantages of both options are shown for the optimal choice of their application.
