Abstract
Study selection and assessment: Inclusion criteria were the use of a single case design assessing any intervention facilitating AAC use by adults with complex communication needs over 21 years of age. Authors appraised rigor via the use of What Works Clearinghouse (WWC 2020) guidelines, with categorization of does not meet standards, meets standards with reservations, and meets standards without reservations.
