El Museo Escolar de Ciencia y la Tecnología como proyecto de Aprendizaje-Servicio

Abstract

The Scientific and Technological department of the Adult School Merce Rodoreda, to improve the quality of  the  formative  service  offered,  has  developed  a  model  of  a  teaching-learning  process:  the  Science  and Technology Museum. This model includes a Service Learning orientation that extends the benefits of this proposal beyond the limits of the classroom. For the course 2016/17 it have been designed new activities that  improve  this  orientation.  The  designed  model  uses  the  Project  Based  Learning  as  its  main  method and  the “Internal  Practices” as  its  organizational  model.  This  model  of  teaching-learning  process  has allowed  the  Scientific  and  Technological  Department  to  be  placed  as  a  leader  in  the  improvement  of  the educational quality and the introduction of competences in the center.
