The Model of Creation and Implementation of the Interregional Project «Yenisei Siberia»

Abstract

The article is devoted to the essential issue of interregional socio-economic integration of the three regions of the Siberian Federal district: Krasnoyarsk region, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tuva. The Yenisei Siberia project supports the trend of the Russian economy turn to the East and strengthens the economic ties both within the Siberian regions and with other regions of Russia and the border countries. The article clarifies the definition of interregional socio-economic integration, shows the advantages and the existing models of regional integration, justifies the application of the possible model of integration for Yenisei Siberia, shows the potential negative consequences and risks of interregional integration, and presents the investment portfolio of the project.
