Abstract

This work overviews the existing balanced switching techniques for single-output Switched Capacitor Converter (SOSCC). A novel balanced switching scheme is proposed for multiphase dual- (multi-) output SCC (MO-SCC) by equalizing the charge transferred in each topological phase and the total charge transferred to each output. The advantages of balanced switching are discussed and supported with simulation results.
