Abstract

Granulation of ferroalloys is an alternative to bed-casting and crushing which has been the traditional method for solidification. The granulated product has many advantages having high yield, homogeneous composition and ideal size and shape for addition into metallurgical processes. The GRANSHOT® granulation process is today used as a standard operation for many ferroalloy producers.
