Abstract
Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis (XGP) is a rare but severe form of inflammatory renal disease associated with renal stones and results in granulomatous tissue invading and destroying normal parenchyma. A serious complication of XGP is fistulization to surrounding structures.
